One of the strongest locks on the market today.

The Tri-Ad-Lock is a modern incarnation of the classic back lock that has been made for decades. Designer Andrew Demko used that familiar lock and added a solid stop-pin and a larger hinge hole for the spring. This means that the pin absorbs all the upward force of the cutting process and the larger hole gives the spring more room to absorb blows. This has made it a more robust, almost self-correcting system.

The handle of the Cold Steel Pro Lite is made from FRN. A rock-solid material that also weighs next to nothing. The blade is made from 4116 stainless steel. A German type of steel that is easy to sharpen and can handle its own.

The Cold Steel Pro Lite is meant to be used. Whether you use it to tackle cardboard all day or cut through tie-rips: it can do it all!
